Several politicians, Buddhist monk leave country

Several politicians including a Buddhist monk  have left the country through the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), a senior airport official said.

Accordingly, former Minister Susantha Punchinilame left the country to Chennai last evening (21) at 2.25 p.m. 

United National Party General Secretary Palitha Range Bandara left for Thailand at 11.15 p.m. yesterday.

Ven. Ittekande Saddhatissa Thera left for Hong Kong this morning at 12.50 a.m.
