Some politicians change policies suddenly to grab votes: Namal warns Tamils

Colombo, June 13 (Daily Mirror)- SLPP National Organizer Namal Rajapaksa cautioned the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) and the Tamil people to be mindful of politicians who change their policies suddenly to grab votes.

He said the Tamil people can trust the parties that have been supporting the implementation of the 13th Amendment from the beginning and the parties who opposed it, but those who change their policies just before an election are only playing to the gallery. 

He said the same political parties that had supported the abolishment of the Executive Presidency have now changed. This is also a testament to these parties' double standards.
