Colombo, July 07 (Daily Mirror) - A special traffic arrangement has been implemented in conjunction with the Bohra convention scheduled to be held from July 7 to 16 at the Bambalapitiya Bohra Mosque and the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre.
According to the police, traffic restrictions will be imposed on the following roads during the periods of 8:00 am to 11:00 am, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm from July 7 to 16:
- Entrance to Bambalapitiya via Palmyra Avenue on Marine Drive
- Entrance to Colpetty via Haig Road on Marine Drive
- Entrance to Marine Drive via 37th Lane
- Entrance to Marine Drive via St. Alban's Place
- Entrance to Marine Drive via Glen Aber Place
- Entrance to Marine Drive via St. Kilda's Lane, Bambalapitiya
- Entrance to Marine Drive via 8th Lane
- Entrance to Ransivi Lane via Ransivi Lane junction on Galle Road
- Entrance to St. Alban's Place via St. Alban's Place junction on Galle Road
- Entrance to Bambalapitiya Railway Station Road via Bambalapitiya Railway Station junction on Galle Road
- Entrance to Arthur's Place via Arthur's Place junction on Galle Road
- Entrance to Glen Aber Place via Glen Aber Place junction on Galle Road
- Entrance to St. Kilda's Lane via St. Kilda's Lane junction on Galle Road
- Entrance to 8th Lane via 8th Lane junction on Galle Road
Accordingly, motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion during these times.
