Suspension of A/L results of 70 Muslim girls will not affect their results: Susil

Parliament, June 19 (Daily Mirror)- The suspension of the GCE Advanced Level results of seventy girls of Zahira College in Trincomalee will not affect their results,Education Minister Susil Premajayantha said today.

He told Parliament that results of the students whose results were suspended will be released soon.

Responding to a question raised by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadsa, the Minister said A/L results of seventy girls of Zahira College in Trincomalee have been delayed due to an issue where the girls who had been wearing fardha had not exposed their ears when entering the examination hall, while adhering to the rules.
