Temporary driving license for 50 hearing and speech impaired individuals

A group of 50 hearing and speech impaired individuals who had undergone special training provided by the Department of Motor Traffic received their driving licenses. 

Temporary driving licenses were issued to them by Ampara District Secretary Chinthka Abeywickrema, pending the issue of permanant licences.

The Department of Motor Traffic provided them with the training and steps were taken to issue the driving licenses on the recommendation of the Assistant Commissioner of Motor Traffic, Ampara

Ampara District SSP Sanath Bandara and the Assistant Commissioner of Motor Traffic Rohan D. De Silva were present at the occasion.
