Three teens drown in sea off Matara

Three students who were bathing in the sea off Wellamadama in Matara this afternoon, had gone missing, police said.

They said the three students had gone for a sea bath after attending tuition classes in Matara town. Identities of the missing students are yet to be established.

Search operations are currently underway to rescue the three missing students with the help of the navy divers. (Krishan Jeewaka Jayaruk)
