Upul Shantha Sannasgala released on bail

Colombo, April 25 - Upul Shantha Sannasgala, the popular tutor and author who was arrested by the Kandana Police today in connection with an alleged fraud, has been released on bail. 

The Welisara Magistrate's Court ordered his release.

Sannasgala was arrested by the Kandana police in response to accusations levelled against him by an individual who claims that he (Sannasgala) failed to return Rs. 1 million, which was reportedly obtained from him.
