Ven.Gnanasara Thera arrives at PCoI

Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Ven. Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera, who appeared for the second day before the PCoI investigating into the Easter Sunday attacks, was questioned today from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., its media division said.

Speaking to the media, Ven. Gnanasara Thera said he was summoned to appear before the PCoI on two or three other occasions based on information he had regarding the dastardly bombings that went off on April 21 last year.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the commission said statements were recorded from at least 350 individuals who had either lodged complaints or were complained against.

The commission will record statements from several other parties before its term expires on March 31. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
