Veterinarians to support MPs backing ’Animal Welfare Bill’

Colombo, July 5 (Daily Mirror) - The Veterinarians for Humane Management of Animal Population Association said today that they will only support parliamentary members who support the Animal Welfare Bill.

The association's advisor Dr. Chamith Nanayakkara told the Daily Mirror that the decision was taken after a committee meeting.

He said animal welfare is not just a responsibility but a testament to our kindness towards animals.
