Woman arrested over Rs. 4 million Qatar job scam

Colombo, June 17 (Daily Mirror) - Officers from the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau (SLFEB) arrested a woman who had allegedly collected over Rs. 4 million by falsely promising jobs in Qatar.

The woman was arrested by the officers attached to the investigation department of the SLBFE.

She is currently being held at the Gampola Police Station and is to be produced before the Gampola Magistrate’s Court today.
