Woman injured in Easter Sunday bomb attack succumbs to injuries

Colombo, May 28 (Daily Mirror) -  Tilina Harshani who was seriously injured in the blast that took place in Katuwapitiya on Easter Sunday five years ago succumbed to her injuries on Monday night.

She was paralyzed and was undergoing treatment for five years.

Tilina’s neighbors told Daily Mirror that the victim was rushed to Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital earlier on Monday.

It was reported that her son was killed in the blast on April 21 2019.

Nearly 200 people were killed in the blast at Katuwapitiya Church on Easter Sunday 2019.
