Young Sri Lankan golfer Kaya triumphs at Nepal Open Golf Tourney

May 31 - Young Sri Lankan golfer, Kaya Daluwatte claimed the top position at the 10th Nepal Amateur Open Golf Championship 2024, which concluded in Kathmandu, Nepal today.

Kaya was in sparkling form, displaying her exceptional skills throughout the tournament, finishing with a final day score of four under par with a score of 68. First day, she was one under with a score of 71 while on day two also she repeated the same score. Her impressive performance was highlighted by five birdies and one eagle, showcasing her accuracy and precision on the course.

Daluwatte maintained consistency across all three days, carding scores of 71, 71, and 68 and claiming her lead over the other competitors. Meanwhile, Indian golfers secured the second and third positions.
