Advocata’s Let’s Reset SL conference to focus on economic reforms

The Advocata Institute has organised the Reform Now conference to be held on August 5 and 6, 2022, on the theme ‘Let’s Reset Sri Lanka’. 

This event will bring together policymakers, international experts, thought leaders, business community, civil society and citizens of Sri Lanka to discuss the reforms needed to overcome the current crisis. 

The conference will contain multiple expert panels, with local and global thinkers and academics on a range of economic and social issues. This includes vital reforms in areas such as taxation, state-owned enterprises, social safety nets, trade policy and land policy.

The two-day forum will feature eminent experts, including former Bank of Thailand (central bank) Governor Dr. Veerathai Santiprabhob and Prof. Premachandra Athukorala from the Australian National University, who will be giving the keynotes for the two days.
