Airtel Lanka gears to launch 4G services soon

• High-speed Airtel 4G will operate in efficient 850 Mhz band
• Expected to deliver differentiated network experience through superior indoor coverage

Airtel Lanka yesterday said that it has been allotted the 4G spectrum by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) and will soon launch its high-speed mobile broadband services across 
the country.

Airtel 4G will operate in the efficient 850 Mhz band, which has higher signal propagation. This will translate into a superior 4G network experience for customers, with wider network availability and most importantly better indoor coverage.   

Customers can also look forward to unlocking best-in-class digital experience over Airtel 4G, with a wide range of applications across entertainment and self-care from Airtel’s global portfolio.
