The bilateral trade between Sri Lanka and Canada has risen 10 percent in 2018 from a year ago to US $ 436 million, according to the Commerce Department
of Sri Lanka.

An Industry and Commerce Ministry communiqué said the apparel exports from Sri Lanka to Canada are on the rise. Sri Lanka also has started exporting tyres, coconuts and seafood to Canada, expanding the country’s export product mix.

A variety of high-quality Canadian products, notably wheat and lentils, make their way to the households across Sri Lanka.
