B. Braun learning arm receives RCS England’s global accreditation

The Aesculap Academy education portfolio has been awarded global accreditation by the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS England) for three years until March 2026.
The global accreditation is an award of excellence from the RCS England that recognises the outstanding surgery-related education provided by the Aesculap Academy around the world. The RCS England provides world-class education, assessment and development for any surgical training run in the UK and globally.
In Sri Lanka, the Aesculap Academy, which is the learning arm of B. Braun, will conduct annual therapy trainings on surgical drill courses, competency-related essential skills training (CREST) for continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), skills laparoscopy workshops, cadaveric workshop on surgical approaches to the upper limb,  wound care workshops, peripheral nerve block workshops and non-technical skills sessions such as medical leadership programmes and essential skills for surgical professionalism in collaboration with professional bodies.
