BOC honours Jaffna University outstanding students

Talented students receive prestigious awards for their exceptional academic achievements

Bank of Ceylon (BOC) participated in the recent 38th Convocation of the University of Jaffna, recognising exceptional academic achievements by awarding the prestigious BOC Gold Medal to two outstanding graduates.
The BOC Gold Medal, a symbol of academic excellence and dedication, was awarded to Priyanthini Matheswaran, who was recognised for her outstanding performance in the Degree of Bachelor of Business Administration Examination 2021. Matheswaran is affiliated with the Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna. 


The second medal was awarded to Mawathage Christine Dinushi Seneviratne, who was honoured for her exceptional performance in the Degree of Bachelor of Commerce Honours Examination 2021. Seneviratne is attached to the Department of Commerce, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna.
These awards highlight BOC’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and supporting the educational aspirations of Sri Lankan students. The bank continues to play a pivotal role in encouraging young talents to achieve their full potential and contribute meaningfully to the country’s economic and social development.
