The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) this week signed an investment agreement worth US $ 3.2 million with St. Joseph’s Children’s Care and Adult hospitals.
The private healthcare facility located in Negombo recently underwent a significant refurbishment, following a US $ 1 million investment led by Kids & Teens Pediatric Medical Group USA and Asia Corp.

The Kids & Teens Medical Group associated with the hospital is often referred to as one of the prominent paediatric medical groups based in Los Angeles, California.
“Enriching the next generation of medical care in Sri Lanka by embracing creativity and passion for paediatric heath rooted in the expertise of the largest paediatric medical group in L.A.,” the BOI stated in an announcement in X (formerly Twitter).
The agreement for the investment venture was exchanged this week between BOI Chairman Arjuna Herath and the officials of St. Joseph’s Hospital on the BOI premises in Colombo.
