Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC yesterday informed the Colombo Stock Exchange that the Central Bank has extended the suspension on its primary dealer licence has been further extended by six months, from August 15, 2021.

Pan Asia Bank’s primary dealer licence was first suspended in August 15, 2017 and since then the suspension had been extended by six months every time it lapsed.

“However, the Central Bank has informed that this suspension will have no bearing on the bank’s regular banking activities and trading on the secondary market,” a stock exchange filing by Pan Asia Bank said.
