Baurs holds session on sustainable nitrogen mgt.

A. Baur & Co. (Pvt) Ltd. recently held an insightful technical session on Super Urea that highlighted the urgent need for sustainable nitrogen management.

Held on 04 September at the Galle Face Hotel Colombo, the session saw two key experts taking center stage, Prof.S P Nissanka of the Department of Crop Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya and Prof. Ray Asebedo, Vice President of Innovar Ag, LLC and former assistant Professor of precision agriculture at Kansas State University. 

Baurs CEO/Managing Director Rolf Blaser, Deputy MD/Director Agriculture Janaka Gunasekera, and senior management and staff were in attendance, including guest Dr. W.M.W  Weerakoon,  Senior Agriculture Specialist at FAO Sri Lanka who is also a former Director General of Agriculture.
