On November 19, 2018, the Sri Lanka Office of the CAFTEC (Chengdu Association for Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation) was formally established.

In the past three years, the office has taken root in Sri Lanka, actively built platforms for economic and trade exchanges, and promoted cooperation between Chengdu and Sri Lanka enterprises in infrastructure, energy, environmental protection, agriculture, science and technology, trade and other fields. We appreciate the support of the International Business Council for helping us launch the office in Colombo. Since its establishment, the office has built close ties with over 100 Chinese enterprises in Sri Lanka; has promoted a total of more than 200 cooperations; has carried out more than 300 economic and trade exchange activities with Sri Lanka; has established friendly relations with more than 150 local government and business organizations in Sri Lanka, such as the International Business Council, Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs, SAARC Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Investment etc, and has made economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Sri Lanka and Chengdu more confident and smoother.

On the occasion of the third anniversary of CAFTEC Sri Lanka office, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the support and assistance of various political and business organizations in Sri Lanka. The successful implementation of projects and cooperation promoted by CAFTEC is inseparable from your help.
