CB to announce monetary policy on November 14

The Central Bank yesterday said the seventh monetary policy for this year will be announced on November 14th at 7.30 a.m.

This is the first monetary policy that would be announced after the change of government.Parliament is also scheduled to be convened on the same day for the first time as former president Mahinda Rajapaksa as the Prime Minister.

Ousted Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and his supporters have called for a vote of confidence on the same day to show Wickremesinghe’s majority in parliament.
