The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce announced a partnership with Academics Group, to deliver Miami Ad School’s Skill-Up programmes designed to enhance employee skills and drive innovation in the business landscape.
The Ceylon Chamber together with cross-sector education think-tank Academics Group will bring transformative skill-up programmes to professional development and creative excellence in Sri Lanka, delivering programmes designed around the biggest trends to thrive in an ever-evolving marketplace.
Participants will learn directly from industry leaders and trendsetters, who will bring their wealth of experience and global perspectives to deliver unparalleled learning experiences.
Miami Ad School was recognised as the Cannes Future Lions School of the Year 2022, the sixth time it has received this honour at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity, and earned its place among the Top 10 Design and Advertising Schools globally for 2023, by the One Club for Creativity New York.

Since expanding its footprint to Colombo in January 2021, over 100 students have successfully graduated from both Strategy and Social Media boot camps and over 500 students have received certificates from skill-up programmes, including the Brand Manager Program, Creative Director Programme, Innovation Leadership Programme, Behaviour Change Marketing and many others. This diverse range of programs equips individuals with the knowledge and expertise necessary to thrive in their respective roles.
Commenting on the collaboration, the CEO of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce stated, “Continued learning and skill development is vital to stay ahead in today’s dynamic business environment. Joining forces with Miami Ad School, will enable us to bring global education opportunities to the professional workforce”.
