The Colombo City Centre Residences project is the most celebrated living space in Colombo, especially during the prevailing conditions and circumstances in the country. The residents at Colombo City Centre (CCC) expressed that it is extremely convenient for them despite the travel restrictions and lockdowns imposed in the country.

The residents at CCC enjoy the luxury of having access to everything they need simply by using the elevator. They have the privilege of walking into the largest Hypermarket of Cargills group in Colombo – Cargills Food Hall, which is located at the lower ground floor of CCC, to purchase whatever they want at their own convenience.

The Hypermarket has a well-stocked pharmacy, bakery, café, salad and juice bars and many more, in addition to the exclusive range of local and imported products. The residents also enjoy the benefit of having a unique mix of restaurants at CCC along with the Food Studio, holding an exciting combination of local and international cuisines that deliver the food of their choice to their doorstep.

Unlike many in Colombo, the residents at CCC did not have to worry about the hassle of walking out of the premises even for cash withdrawals, as the local and international bank ATMs at the CCC mall ensured access to banking services through these machines.

“I can’t overstate the convenience of being at CCC during the lockdown,” home owner Dulsini De Soyza said.
Having recorded the highest number of sales and handovers amongst residential projects in the heart of Colombo during the peak of the pandemic, the Colombo City Centre Residences project is currently found to be one of the safest investment options in Sri Lanka. The backing of the corporate powerhouse Abans Group saw the project through to completion, amidst turbulent market conditions.

The mixed development comprises a total of 192 luxury apartments of two BR, three BR and penthouses, facilitating the apartment owners to gain access to a multitude of amenities such as shopping, movies, restaurants, supermarket, entertainment, food courts, gaming, kids’ play areas and now – with the entry of the first upscale 164-key international hotel with Marriott International – CCC has reaffirmed its position as a landmark in the city.

Speaking on the sidelines, CEO Praveen Methil stated, “We are delighted and proud to announce to our valued patrons about opening the first Flagship Courtyard by Marriott in Sri Lanka at CCC by this year end. We believe real estate is much more than just construction of the proverbial four walls. With the delivery of a fine and truly world-class product, CCC is an iconic address in Colombo. We haven’t just made apartments; we have delivered ‘homes’, which have a whole different meaning to it. An abode that offers better living, an aspirational possession that one would always want to show off, a habitat which has redefined not only comfort and luxury but also safety and finally, a retreat that brings out smiles, which one always wants to go back to without ever feeling bored. Welcome Home!”

Sales Director Hirushka Fernando sharing his thoughts said, “We’re pleased to invite everyone to join our privileged community of Residents at CCC by investing in the few remaining ready-to-move-in apartments, as it’s the perfect time to secure your living space before the hotel opening. The investors will be immensely benefitted with the enormous value appreciation expected with the opening of the international hotel at CCC under Marriott International – one of the world’s largest hospitality groups.”

“Even when the entire country shut down during a global lockdown, our lives kept going, thanks to Colombo City Centre Residencies,” home owner Sampath Abeyratne said.
