CHEC Port City Colombo represents Sri Lanka at World Cities Summit

CHEC Port City Colombo (Pvt.) Ltd is representing Sri Lanka at World Cities Summit 2022 that is being held at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, from July 31 to August 3. 


This biennial global event unites city leaders and associates from across 90 countries under this year’s theme ‘Liveable and Sustainable Cities: Emerging Stronger’. Port City Colombo envisions itself as the most livable city in South Asia, imbuing technology and sustainability with its smart city concept to enhance living convenience. 

As the Platinum sponsor of the event, the project company showcases the potential of Port City Colombo as a special economic zone and a future investment hub to representatives from governments, thought leaders, experts and corporates from diverse industry sectors, who have converged at the World Cities Summit to inspire conversations about the future and forge new partnerships.  


The three-day summit is attended by CHEC Port City Colombo Deputy Managing Director Thulci Aluwihare. He will speak at the WCS track session on the topic ‘How Can Partnerships Transform the Development of Cities?’
