CIC Holdings gets new Group CEO

Diversified conglomerate CIC Holdings last Friday announced the appointment of Prashantha Aroshan Seresinhe as the Group CEO with effect from December 1, 2021.


Seresinhe is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants United Kingdom (CIMA UK) and Associate Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). 


He commenced his career at Ernst & Young Sri Lanka in mid 1990’s. Thereafter he moved into the Venture Capital Industry as an Analyst, subsequently moving into commercial roles with Sri Lankan conglomerates covering finance, investment management, corporate planning in a regional mobile company. 

In the last decade, he was with a regional oil palm plantation company overlooking projects in setting up of palm oil processing mills, in Kalimantan Indonesia. 


Prior to joining CIC Holdings PLC, Aroshan was with a quoted diversified conglomerate – having headed the renewable energy business portfolio, with experiences in project management in setting up and operationalising a TMR Dairy project. 


Aroshan has diverse management experiences having worked in some of Sri Lanka’s most recognised corporates.
