CMA Sri Lanka to celebrate International Women’s Day via virtual forum tomorrow

The Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka celebrates International Women’s Day 2023 organized by the CMA Sri Lanka Women Development Activities Committee on the theme ‘Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality’ on March 8th  from 2.30 p.m.– 4.30 p.m. via online zoom platform. 


The welcome address will be delivered by Chairperson, CMA Sri Lanka Women’s Development Activities Committee and Associate Director, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Darshini Watawala. 


The keynote address on ‘Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality’ will be delivered by Annie Mathewan advocate for a more inclusive and humane tech industry who is Director Developer Relations and Digital Natives at Microsoft Asia Pacific with the mission of empowering. She hasreceived the Chief Minister’s recognition for her work with startup ecosystem and was nominated for Sthree Shakthi award for women in Science and Technology in her home state in India. Presentation will be followed by a panel discussion, which will be moderated by Chamila Cooray, General Manager -Operations, WNS Global Services (Pvt) Ltd. The panelists are Pulani Ranasinghe, Founder & CEO, Loons Lab, Dr. Chaminda Ranasinghe, Founder & CEO, Ideahub (Pvt) Ltd and Conrad Dias, CEO, LOLC Technologies Limited.


The webinar will conclude with a question and answer session where participants will also have an opportunity to discuss practical applications and obtain clarifications via chat option.
