CMA Sri Lanka webinar on ‘File your own tax return online’ today

The Conference and Seminars Committee and the Taxation Committee of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA) will conduct another knowledge sharing Continuing Professional Development virtual webinar on ‘File your own tax return online’ today from 6.00 p.m. – 8.00 p.m. via online zoom platform. 

The welcome address will be delivered by Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala, Founder President, CMA Sri Lanka. The presentation on ‘File your own tax return online’ will be delivered by Athula Ranaweera, Managing Partner, Ranaweera Associates. In his presentation he will cover Individual tax planning, Individual tax computation and filing of tax return via online. 

The Department of Inland Revenue will be well represented at this webinar at the panel discussion with Sujeewa Henadeera Commissioner, Nandana Kumara Senior Deputy Commissioner and Hiran Meneripitiya Senior Deputy Commissioner who will discuss on Individual Income Tax (IIT), e-filing and answer any questions and clarifications from participants.

The panel discussion will be moderated by P.  Gajendra Council Member CMA Sri Lanka and Chairman Taxation Committee. The other panelists will include Deshapriya Senanayake Partner Tudor V Perera & Co.(Chartered Accountants) and Amila Sugathapala Treasurer National Chamber of Industries and CEO CAL Exports Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
