CMA Sri Lanka webinar on debt restructuring today

The Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA) will conduct a webinar on ‘Restructuring of Foreign and Local Debt and Impact on the Economy and Society’ on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., via the Zoom platform. 


The webinar will have economists cum politicians and experienced bankers to   present and discuss debt restructuring and its impact.    


The welcome and introductory remarks will be delivered by CMA Sri Lanka Founder President Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala. The presentations will be delivered by Member of Parliament and former Economic Reforms and Public Distribution Minister Dr. Harsha de Silva, CBC Finance Limited Chairman, CBC Myanmar Microfinance Limited Chairman, former Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC Chairman and Central Bank of Sri Lanka Senior Deputy Governor Dharma Dheerasinghe and financial consultant and former senior banker Mangala Boyagoda. 


This webinar will be moderated by Development Economist and World Economic Forum Expert Network Member Talal Rafi followed by a question-and-answer session. The vote of thanks will be delivered by CMA Sri Lanka Vice President and SAFA President H.M. Hennayaka Bandara.
