The Chamber of Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) unveiled ‘I AM the Sri Lankan Entrepreneur 2024’, an awards evening dedicated to celebrating and empowering the country’s most remarkable entrepreneurs. Taking place on 5th March 2025, this landmark event will honour those whose bold vision and innovation have driven Sri Lanka’s industries forward.

This year’s awards, open to applicants from every corner of the island, embody a truly national celebration of entrepreneurship.

From provincial to district-level recognition, the initiative highlights the entrepreneurial brilliance shaping the future of Sri Lankan business. With over 65 awards across categories such as Best Young Entrepreneur, Best Woman Entrepreneur, Best Social Entrepreneur, and the coveted Entrepreneur of the Year, the event promises to be an inspiring showcase of talent and achievement.

Ensuring credibility and transparency, the evaluation process is entrusted to independent panels with the expertise of COYLE’s knowledge partner, Ernst & Young. This rigorous approach reinforces the awards’ reputation as one of Sri Lanka’s most trusted recognitions of entrepreneurial excellence.

Inspired by COYLE’s Young Lankans Initiative, the awards aim to nurture the next generation of leaders. By recognising emerging entrepreneurs, empowering young innovators, and fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem, COYLE is paving the way for a robust and globally competitive business landscape.

Applications are now open and can be downloaded from the COYLE website. Entries close on the 15 January 2025, so aspiring entrepreneurs are encouraged to act quickly to showcase their achievements and vision.
