CSE says trading will not resume on April 22

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) yesterday said it would not recommence trading on April 22.

The CSE in a brief media release yesterday morning said it would resume trading activities on April 22, with modified trading times.

However, with the government extending the curfew imposed in Colombo and several other districts, due to the coronavirus risks, to April 27, the CSE yesterday afternoon said trading would not recommence as 
earlier indicated. 

As of now, trading remains closed only in three stock exchanges across the globe. The stock exchanges are the Dhaka Stock Exchanges (DSE), Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) and Colombo 
Stock Exchange.
