Ceylon Chamber announces panel of evaluators for BCCS Awards 2024

Following the launch of the application process for Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Awards 2024, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce announced the panel of evaluators for the awards.


As Chairman of the Panel, Rathika de Silva will lead an experienced and versatile panel of evaluators, who will evaluate the applications for sustainability under the awards’ 3 Ps – Planet, People and Profit. 


Applications under the sub-sections will be considered by expert evaluators in those subject areas. Accordingly, the ‘Planet’ section of the application relating to the environment will be evaluated by Ravi De Silva, T.F. Nimal Perera and Prof. Erandathie Lokupitiya. 


Under the ‘People’ section, the subsections of Employee Relations will be evaluated by Prasad De Silva and Daniel Dissanayake, Community Relations by Prof. Sashika Manoratne and Zahra Cader and Customer Relations by Dr. Asanga Ranasinghe and Gerald Desaram. 


The ‘Profit’ section of the applications will be evaluated under Economic Contribution and Governance by Pyumi Sumanasekara and Hafsa Banu.


Best Sustainability Projects Awards 2024 recognises individual sustainability projects initiated by Sri Lankan corporates and will be evaluated by a panel of evaluators comprising panel Chair Azam Bakeer Markar, Vinod Malwatte, Harshini de Silva Pandithasekera, Kesava Murali Kanapathy, Karin Fernando and Dr. Randika Jayasinghe.
