Ceylon Chamber to host post-budget webinar on Nov. 15

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will organise a virtual session on Analysing the National Budget 2022 on November 15, starting at 9:30 a.m. 


The webinar serves as an important opportunity to understand the key tax and non-tax proposals and how they would impact the business community. 


The keynote will be delivered by Finance Ministry Fiscal Policy Department Director General Dr. Kapila Senanayake. The session will also see a presentation on the key budget proposals presented by KPMG in Sri Lanka Principal Tax and Regulatory Suresh Perera.


Following the presentations, a panel discussion will be held where the two speakers will be joined by Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Chairman Vish Govindasamy, Hemas Holdings PLC Group CEO Kasturi Chellaraja Wilson and Verite Research Research Director Deshal De Mel, who will share their perspective on the National Budget 2022. The session will be moderated by Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Vice Chairman and Ernst & Young Sri Lanka Senior Partner and Head of Tax Duminda Hulangamuwa.
