Sri Lanka’s culinary expertise took center stage last week with Ceylon Curry Club catering at one of the most anticipated events of the year—the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
Ceylon Curry Club, part of the Citrus Group, was picked to cook up a storm at the most lavish pre-wedding event seen to-date.

A 13-member team, led by Kumudu Jayathilake and Chef Panduka Perera, flew into Jamnagar, Gujarat, India to serve the A-list guests hosted by Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani.

The Ceylon Curry Club team was initially slated to only cater for one lunch service, but was requested to cater for a second consecutive day due to the overwhelmingly positive response to the cuisine and service.   The team served a selection of favourites from its Sri Lankan fusion cuisine menu to around 1,200 guests, which included Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Ivanka Trump, and several Indian celebrities. The event also featured performances from pop superstar Rihanna and magician David Blaine.
