Channa Gunawardana Litro Gas Lanka’s new Chairman

Litro Gas Lanka Ltd and Litro Gas Terminal Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd yesterday saw the appointment of Channa Gunawardana as its new Chairman.

Gunawardana brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles, including his tenure at Aitken Spence Group as CEO/Director of Aitken Spence Garments Ltd and CEO of Royal Fernwood Porcelain PLC from December 2021. Prior to that, he joined Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC in 2019, where he demonstrated his expertise in business transformation and leadership.

His international exposure includes serving as Country Manager for Ernst & Young in the Maldives, Chief Financial Officer for apparel operations in Bangladesh and setting up a pioneering manufacturing plant in Africa in 2015. His 12-year career at Hirdaramani Group culminated in his role as Chief Operating Officer of the Knit Cluster, where he oversaw 10 manufacturing plants and led sales and marketing initiatives for key product lines.
