Citi celebrates Global Community Day

Citi Sri Lanka recently celebrated its 19th annual Global Community Day with over 50 Citi volunteers coming together to help create a memorable experience for 60 children residing at the Sri Jinananda Children’s Home situated at Wellawatte. This effort is aligned with one of Citi’s focus areas – supporting youth.
The day’s activities for children included engaging in various entertainment activities, accompanied by Citi volunteers who shared valuable life lessons and distributed melas, treats and other essential school supplies. 
Ravin Basnayake, Citi Country Officer said, “Citi Global Community Day is a cherished tradition where colleagues across borders unite to uplift our communities. This year, our team in Sri Lanka brought joy to these deserving children at Sri Jinananda Children’s Home, creating a truly heartwarming experience”.
