Citi hosts knowledge sharing session on digitisation

Citi reaffirmed its commitment to advancing client understanding on digitisation by hosting a knowledge sharing session themed ‘Seamless Digitisation Through Citi’s API Capabilities’ recently.

The event attracted over 100 enthusiastic clients, highlighting the increasing interest in digital transformation and its benefits. 

Citi Country Officer and Banking Head Ravin Basnayake addressing the gathering accentuated the pivotal role of digitisation in today’s financial landscape. He emphasised Citi’s dedication to advancing technology to enhance client experience and streamline operations. 

Indian Subcontinent Senior Vice President/Head Platforms and Data Services Rishabh Duseja led the session and provided an in-depth introduction to APIs.

Rishabh elucidated the fundamental concepts of APIs and showcased various business use cases where APIs can be effectively applied. The presentation underscored how APIs streamline processes, facilitate seamless integration and offer enhanced flexibility benefitting our clients through improved service delivery and operational efficiency. 

The session included detailed discussion on API such as real-time data exchange, automation of routine tasks and enabling new age digital services. Business case studies were shared to illustrate how organisations from different sectors have successfully leveraged APIs to drive innovation and growth.
