Commonwealth Union launches website in Colombo

The Commonwealth Union launched its official website in Colombo last week. 


Commonwealthunion.com is a digital media platform that connects the 2.6 billion people of the Commonwealth’s 56 member nations by providing the latest global and regional business news, investments and more. 


It was launched at The Kingsbury Colombo by a group of local and foreign dignitaries, including investors from several nations of the Commonwealth. 

The website serves as a gateway to global markets and a window of investment and business opportunities for companies through its unique marketing and advertising categories that cover the Commonwealth. It has a global Commonwealth diaspora of over 100 million educated, professional and businesspeople, travellers and also encapsulates over 150 million small and medium-sized businesses throughout the Commonwealth’s 56 nations, covering 33 percent of the world’s population, with 2.6 billion people and a combined Commonwealth GDP of over US $ 13 trillion.  The web presently has an active readership of about 12 million.
