Comtrust Asset Management rebrands as CT CLSA Asset Management

Comtrust Asset Management, a fully owned subsidiary of CT CLSA Holdings has been rebranded as CT CLSA Asset Management with effect from today.


The objective of the rebranding is to reposition the company consistent with all business units under the single brand identity of CT CLSA. 


This would enable CT CLSA Asset Management to further establish itself within the industry with the direct association of strong local and international shareholders while upholding its key values of Commitment, Trust, and Continuity to all stakeholders.


The rebranding reassures the commitment by the shareholders to the asset management business, and the continuous support to grow the asset management business to be a market leader in providing innovative wealth management solutions.


The investment team led by Bimanee Meepagala, Chief Investment Officer at CT CLSA Asset Management delivered exceptional performance in 2021/2022. 


The Comtrust Equity Fund was ranked No.1 in the Balanced Fund category for 2021, (As per the data published by the Unit Trust Association), while the assets under management grew by over 60 percent during the 2021/2022 financial year. The rebranding is expected to auger well to capitalise on the group synergies and cross sell opportunities across the group.
