Conrad appointed Chairman, Krishan CEO following CLC’s amalgamation with LOFC

Following the amalgamation of Commercial Leasing & Finance PLC (CLC) with LOLC Finance PLC (LOFC) with effect from March 31, 2022, new appointments and re-designations have been made to the LOFC 
director board.

Accordingly, LOFC Finance Director/CEO Conrad Dias has been promoted to Chairman/Non-Executive Director while Krishan Thilakaratne has been appointed as Director/CEO with effect from March 31, 2022.

Krishan Thilakaratne was the Director/CEO of CLC and a member of the senior management team of LOLC PLC. Thilakaratne is a board member of Seylan Bank PLC and Commercial Insurance Brokers. 

He further serves in the board of LOLC Myanmar Micro Finance Company Ltd. He is also the Director of LOLC Central Asia covering the markets and investments in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakstan and Uzbekistan. 

He was a board member of Credit Information Bureau of Sri Lanka (CRIB), Prasac Micro Finance Institution Ltd Cambodia and the past Chairman of the Finance Houses Association of Sri Lanka (FHASL), the Apex body for Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) in Sri Lanka.  

The other board members of LOFC are: K.U. Amarasinghe, B.C.G. de Zylva, P.A. Wijeratne and K.Sundararaj.
