‘Construction Expo’ postponed indefinitely

The Lanka Exhibition & Conference Services (LECS) has announced the indefinite postponement of ‘Construction Expo’ exhibition.


“We at LECS want to express our concern for everyone impacted by coronavirus. Like all of you, we have carefully monitored the global health crisis related to COVID-19 coronavirus. Our top priority is the health and safety of everyone involved in Construction Expo 2020.


“Due to the escalation of COVID-19 epidemic around the world and the news that the virus has now reached our shores, and in alignment with the advice from the Sri Lankan health authorities, we have taken the decision to postpone our event which was scheduled to be held from the 20th – 22nd of March  at the BMICH.


“We have made this decision in the best interest of the industry to enable us to organize an event which provides effective participation and experience to all. 

“We are continuing to liaise directly with all relevant authorities on a regular basis, whilst monitoring and complying with the Sri Lankan health guidance, and rest assured we will keep you informed of the new dates as soon as we receive them from BMICH, ” LECS said in a statement.
