The Ananda College Old Boys’ Association (ACOBA) has launched a fundraising campaign aimed at providing merit-based scholarships for students at Ananda College and karuna.lk, Sri Lanka’s first cause-verified crowdfunding platform, powered by Dialog Axiata PLC, is supporting the ACOBA in this mission by hosting this worthy cause on its platform, making it easy for donors to contribute and make a difference.

This initiative highlights the ACOBA’s commitment to fostering educational excellence and nurturing future leaders by ensuring deserving scholars facing financial constraints receive the support they need.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards building a stronger, more supportive educational ecosystem by empowering the Ananda community to cultivate a culture of giving back, ensuring that every contribution directly impacts the educational journey of talented students.

ACOBA Executive President Senior Prof. Athula Kaluarchchi stated, “Many students at Ananda College face financial constraints and the ACOBA provides essential monthly financial assistance to numerous students. Despite our efforts, the demand for additional funds remains high. As such, we express our gratitude to Dialog for their unwavering support in hosting our fundraising initiative on karuna.lk, helping raise funds for the much-needed scholarships.”
