Dialog-Formis-Access JV secures tender to automate courts

A joint venture among Dialog Broadband Networks, Formis Network Services and Access International has secured a bid to design, supply, implement and maintain a court automation for the judicial system of Sri Lanka.
The Cabinet approval was granted on May 2, 2020, to implement a project in collaboration with the Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) to design, supply, implement and maintain a court automation for the judicial system of Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, a proposal presented by Justice Minister Ali Sabri to award the contract to the aforementioned joint venture, as per the recommendation of the Cabinet-appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers this week. 

Sri Lanka in 2020 received a US $ 22 million European Union grant to digitise the justice administration system and automate courts.
