E B Creasy Solar completes irrigation project in Nikaveratiya

E B Creasy Solar has once again demonstrated its commitment to environmental stewardship and technological innovation with the recent completion of a landmark project in Nikaveratiya.
In partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), utilizing cutting-edge German Lorentz solar-powered water pumps, this project is set to revolutionize water accessibility, for both irrigation and consumption, promising to pump an astounding 1 million liters of water per day, powered entirely by solar energy without using fuel or grid electricity. 
Amidst fluctuating economic conditions and rising costs of fuel and electricity, these pumps will help ensure that farmers will have consistent access to water, affordably. 
Accordingly, this initiative is helping to transform the lives of farmers in Nikaveratiya, a key agricultural region, who have faced significant challenges due to water scarcity. The project aims to provide water to 90 percent of the farmers in the village, marking a significant milestone in their journey towards sustainable agriculture. By harnessing the power of the sun, E B Creasy Solar is also helping to promote sustainable prosperity and environmentally friendlyagricultural practices in the region. 
Furthermore, E B Creasy Solar’s commitment goes beyond the initial implementation of the project, as the company has pledged to offer technical support and maintenance services,at no cost to the farmers.
