Expolanka Holdings PLC’s fully-owned subsidiary Oki Doki, which is known for its digital transportation solutions, has expanded its footprint with the launch of its operations in Jakarta, Indonesia, early this month.
The event witnessed the presence of the senior leadership teams from Oki Doki, Expolanka Holdings and EFL Global and the existing and potential customers converging in Jakarta to celebrate the milestone.
“Indonesia was selected by Oki Doki as the first location to establish its overseas footprint because of its growing demand for tech-driven transportation solutions, on account of its congested roads, where cargo transportation is usually tracked manually,” a press release issued by the company said.
The lack of live visibility often gives rise to delays and thus Oki Doki believes its digital transport services can be a real asset for Indonesia’s logistics and transport challenges.
The company currently provides bespoke digitalised transport solutions for domestic and import/export movements in Sri Lanka for industries such as apparel, FMCG, healthcare, beverage and cold chain. Some of Oki Doki’s unique products are its specialised fleet management services to ensure a seamless process, backed by its uniquely developed Transport Management System (TMS), professional operations team and 24x7 Monitoring Centre, ensuring visibility and accessibility to clients from pick up to delivery.
Commenting on the milestone event, Oki Doki CEO Shashi Gunathilaka said, “Oki Doki believes it is ideally positioned to offer end-to-end transportation solutions to provide a seamless experience in Indonesia, backed by our tech-driven and convenient transparent solutions. We are immensely proud of this landmark moment in the company’s history.”
