In its ongoing efforts to promote employee well-being in the workplace, Great Place To Work, in collaboration with AMCHAM and WCIC, will host a women and wellness event on October 30, 2024, at Cinnamon Grand Hotel.
Themed ‘Radiance: Inner Wellness, Outer Brilliance, Balanced Future’, the event will explore the connection between inner well-being and outward success for women in professional settings.
The agenda includes keynote speeches, panel discussions and roundtable sessions, all aimed at highlighting how nurturing mental and emotional health can significantly enhance both career performance and personal growth in enabling women to maximise their human potential. As part of the event, Great Place To Work will also recognise the 15 Best Workplaces for Women, celebrating organisations that have excelled in creating inclusive and supportive environments for women.
As the world unites in October 2024 for the World Mental Health Month, the global theme this year, ‘It’s Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace’, calls attention to the importance of fostering mental well-being in professional environments.
As a thought leader in this space, Great Place To Work is dedicated to highlighting the critical role of mental health in fostering productive, supportive and thriving work environments and as such is taking the lead by engaging organisations across various industries to measure, assess and improve employee well-being. By helping businesses understand the direct link between mental health and employee engagement, Great Place To Work supports organisations, in building a more compassionate and resilient culture.
“Employee well-being is a cornerstone of creating a Great Place to Work,” said Great Place to Work Sri Lanka Director/CEO Kshanika Ratnayak.
The keynote speaker is to be Shanuki de Alwis, a social activist and development communications specialist.
