Gulf Air confirms flights operating as normal to and from Colombo

Gulf Air yesterday said its flight to and from the Sri Lankan capital are operating as normal.

“Gulf Air sympathises with the people of Sri Lanka amidst the bombings that occurred yesterday in a number of locations, and would like to confirm that its flights to and from the Sri Lankan capital Colombo are operating as normal. 

“Gulf Air has been advised by the Sri Lankan authorities that the airport and its surroundings are safe and the operations of the airport are still functional,“ Gulf Air said in a statement. 
The airline said it would continue to monitor the situation closely, as the safety of its passengers and crew remain a top priority for the airline.
