HNB Legacy Open Golf Tournament swings into action at Nuwara Eliya Golf Club

The HNB Legacy Open 2024, held at the picturesque Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, concluded on 28th September, following an 18 hole game of thrilling competition. 
This tournament marks the beginning of a new tradition, designed to celebrate excellence in golf and create lasting memories through a shared passion for the sport. 
In Division A, Noordeen Sethwala emerged as the Overall Winner, showcasing exceptional skill on the course. Priyanga Hapugalle took home the title in Division B, while Nadesan Krishna Kumar secured victory in Division C. The Ladies Division saw Anouk Chitty claim the top spot, and Raju A.Chandiramwas crowned the winner in the Seniors Division. 
The awards ceremony and fellowship night at the Grand Hotel Nuwara Eliya provided a fitting conclusion to the event, reinforcing its significance and fostering camaraderie among participants. 
Damith Pallewatte, HNB’s Acting CEO, presented the Overall Winner with a return air ticket to Singapore. Reflecting on the event, he stated: 
“We’re excited to see how this tournament, and others like it, will continue to create opportunities for our clients to connect, grow, and enjoy exclusive moments on and off the course,” said HNB Acting CEO Damith Pallewatte.
