ICC Chair speaks at White House COVID-19 Summit

International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Chairman and MasterCard Worldwide Executive Chairman Ajay Banga speaking at the White House COVID-19 Summit, convened by President Joe Biden on the margins on the UN General Assembly, explained the business case for vaccine equity and urged for global corporation in tackling the pandemic. 


He also highlighted the ICC’s ability to mobilise the ICC’s network to drive COVID relief efforts and explore pioneering solutions to strengthen health supply chains. 


Globally, the ICC represents over six million member companies and over 45 million members globally in over 130 countries. The ICC’s founding mission is to promote widespread peace and economic prosperity.  The ICC is represented in Sri Lanka by ICC Sri Lanka  (ICCSL) .
