The International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka (ICCSL) moved into its own premises at Suncity Building, Colombo 3.

The ICCSL is a national committee of the Paris-based International Chamber of Commerce, the largest and most representative business organisation in the world, with over 45 million members in over 130 countries.

Trade and Commerce Minister Bandula Gunawardana graced the occasion. The minister highlighted the need for the private sector chambers to work closely with the government to address the challenges the economy is currently facing, due to the pandemic.

The ICCSL is the only authorised authority for the issuance of ATA carnet in Sri Lanka – the international customs document that permits the tax-free and duty-free temporary export and import of non-perishable goods for up to one year.

The ICCSL has been in Sri Lanka for over 60 years.
